The summer online Health course offering for eligible students runs concurrently with SUMMER session 1 and 2 dates.
Summer School
The district is pleased to be able to offer targeted summer school programs for grade 7-12 students each year. Summer school includes opportunities for remediation, acceleration, credit recovery, and enrichment. Offerings vary based on an annual assessment of student needs. Programs may be in-person on a campus or offered via independent study online.

No School - June 19, July 3,4,5 for all programs
Please note that times, dates, and locations may vary by term and program - click on the below grade-level programs to view details.
For most programs, the location will be La Costa Canyon High School at 1 Maverick Way, Carlsbad, CA 92009, 8:30 am - 12:40 pm.

A transportation option will be available from the south end of the district.
Attendance - Students missing more than 6 hours of class time in either session will be dropped without credit. We are not able to make any exceptions in order to comply with California attendance requirements.

Instructions: Please print page 1 of the registration form, fill in student information, class(es) and signatures, and turn the completed form in to the student's current school counselor as soon as possible and before Friday, May 19, 2023, so that the correct classes can be scheduled.
*For only those students with any Independent Study Online (ISOL) Course, high school students and parents will also need to complete this Independent Study Online Contract. The contract is required to enroll in any ISOL summer course(s) and will be collected in the mandatory first class attendance day on June 9.
- Optional Summer Bus Application - from South to LCC English / Spanish Note: The application asks for bus stop and time of pick up/return but this can be left blank for now. Once it is determined who wants to be transported, then it will be determine the stop and pick up locations and they will be communicated directly.
