SDUHSD College & Career Night

We are pleased to offer College and Career Resources to all grade levels and to host an annual College & Career Night at the Del Mar Fairgrounds to provide access to college representatives and information about careers to all students in the San Dieguito Union High School District.

Note: Due to the COVID-19 guidance from the State of California regarding large events, the 2020 and 2021 SDUHSD College & Career Nights were canceled and most college fairs and presentations were moved to virtual settings. We share the college and career virtual visits, tours and opportunites on the SDUHSD College & Career page and directly to students via grade level school communications.
For 2021-2022, we hope that colleges and representatives will resume in-person visits and travel and that college fairs will be able to be scheduled. We are continuing to monitor the evolving events and will share further information as it becomes available.

9th Annual SDUHSD College and Career Night

The 9th Annual SDUHSD College and Career Night, An Exploration of Post-Secondary Options will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.

This event is sponsored by the San Dieguito Union High School District, serving the students of Canyon Crest Academy, La Costa Canyon High School, San Dieguito Academy, Sunset High School and Torrey Pines High School.

Over 200 colleges and universities from across the nation will participate, as well as test prep, interviewing strategy, summer program, and financial aid companies. A hybrid forum of college-led information sessions running concurrently with a college fair will allow students and parents a unique opportunity to learn more about college admissions.

The College & Career Fair portion of the event will begin at 6:00 pm. The Fair is a great opportunity for students and parents to visit with multiple college admission and career program representatives and learn in-depth information about specific post-secondary options.

More information, including information session topics and participants, will be posted closer to the event date.
