high school selection period

The annual high school selection period is from the last week of January through mid-February. The exact dates and events will be posted to this page.

There is no advantage to submitting earlier in the high school selection window. All applications submitted on or before 4:00 pm on the last date each year have an equal chance.

Residency

Families must currently reside within SDUHSD district boundaries to participate in high school selection.
Students who are currently on an approved Interdistrict transfer cannot make a high school selection during this process.
All current approved Interdistrict transfer students must reapply annually.

Academy Interest List

2025-2026

Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year at Canyon Crest Academy and San Dieguito High School Academy is currently closed.

For current enrollment, please enroll in your residential boundary school, La Costa Canyon High School or Torrey Pines High School.

The next opportunity for enrollment at CCA or SDHSA will be in late January 2025 when the High School Selection process opens.
