STUDENTS CURRENTLY ENROLLED
IN SDUHSD SCHOOLS
- All current 8th-grade students who will attend 9th grade in the district must submit an online selection of the high school they wish to attend in fall 2026, or select "Not Returning."
- Any grade 9-11 student who currently attends an SDUHSD high school and wishes to CHANGE HIGH SCHOOLS will need to select the high school they want to attend in fall 2026.
NOTE: Current SDUHSD high school students who wish to stay at the same school do not need to make a selection and will automatically be re-enrolled in the current high school for next year.
- High School Selection Choice for currently enrolled SDUHSD students may only be made through an Aeries PARENT, not Student, PORTAL. Please review the AERIES Parent Portal Tutorial in English or Spanish for instructions on how to make the selection.
After high school selection period ends, the District will automatically ENROLL the student to the APPROVED high school for eligible students. Incoming high school families do not need to use the Aeries Online Enrollment platform to enroll the student.
STUDENTS NOT CURRENTLY
ATTENDING SDUHSD SCHOOLS

All current 8th-grade students, including those attending private schools, home schools, and R Roger Rowe Middle School in Rancho Santa Fe, who reside within the SDUHSD boundaries and will be attending 9th grade in SDUHSD must submit an online selection of the high school that they wish to attend in fall 2026.

Any grade 9-11 high school student who resides within the district boundaries, but is not currently attending an SDUHSD high school, will need to select the high school that they request to participate in fall 2026.
- All families not currently attending SDUHSD schools will need to upload documents during this process to verify residency within the district boundaries.

- Families must currently reside within SDUHSD district boundaries to participate in high school selection.
- Students who are currently on an approved Interdistrict transfer cannot make a high school selection during this process.
- All current approved Interdistrict transfer students must reapply annually.

2025-26 enrollment at Canyon Crest Academy and San Dieguito High School Academy is currently closed.
For current year enrollment in high school, please visit the Enrollment page to enroll in the residential boundary school, La Costa Canyon High School or Torrey Pines High School.
The next opportunity for enrollment at CCA or SDHSA will be in late January 2025 when the High School Selection process opens.
