The District Office will be undergoing a modernization project. The estimated timeframe is from July 2022 - August 2023. During this time, the Superintendent's Office will be temporarily located at Earl Warren Middle School. About the INTERIM Superintendent
Tina Douglas transitions into the role of Interim Superintendent after having served in SDUHSD for the last five years as the Associate Superintendent, Business Services.
With over 33 years of K-12 school business experience, she has a well-respected history of working in the education management industry. In addition to her roles at SDUHSD, she also serves as a mentor in both the USC School Business Management Certificate Program as well as the Fiscal Crisis & Management Assistance Team Chief Business Official Mentor Program for aspiring school business officials throughout the state. She is the current President-Elect for the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO).
Mrs. Douglas’ other educational experiences include Assistant Superintendent for the Santa Ana Unified School District and Westminster School District; Fiscal Services Manager in the Ramona Unified School District, Budget Analyst in the Vista Unified School District and 18 years in various positions for the San Diego County Office of Education.
Mrs. Douglas has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Master’s Degree in School Business Leadership and also has a CASBO Chief Business Official Certification.
Mrs. Douglas is a first-generation college graduate, is married and has four children.
