No Physical Night at CCA

CCA will not be hosting a Physical Night this spring. It will be the responsibility of each student-athlete to obtain his/her physical from their own doctor. Fall athletes will be most impacted by this, so please make your appointments now for the 2008-2009 school year. Remember that all new physicals must be done AFTER June 1st, 2008 to be valid for the 2008-2009 school year. Thank you.

Fall Athletic Packets

Fall athletic packets are due no later than Wednesday July 30th, 2008. Please remember that we will need each students most recent report card and an updated physical turned in with the packet. Summer athletic office hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

NCAA CLEARINGHOUSE

If  you are currently a Junior and are hoping to participate in Athletics at the college level, you need to click on the NCAA Clearinghouse link to the left.  Contact your C.C.A. Counselor for more information regarding the NCAA Clearinghouse!!!!!


Independent Study PE (Fall 2008 packets are due not later than Friday August 15th.)

If you are interested, you can also download and print the Independent Study P.E. packet or pick one up at Canyon Crest Academy during normal school hours. If you need extra copies of the ISPE log, you can download and print just the ISPE log .

Athletics Teams at CCA for the 2007-2008 School Year

Please note: CCA athletes will compete at the JV and Varsity level in the Coastal League South for the 2007-2008 school year.


Fall Sports: 8/13 to 11/10

Cross Country, Girls' Golf, Boys' Water Polo, Field Hockey, Girls' Tennis and Girls' Volleyball


Winter Sports: 11/10 to 2/16

Boys' Basketball, Girls' Basketball, Boys' Soccer, Girls' Soccer, Girls' Water Polo and Wrestling 


Spring Sports: 2/16 to 6/6

Boys' Golf, Boys' Lacrosse, Girls' Lacrosse, Softball, Baseball, Swimming, Boys' Tennis, Boys' Volleyball and Track


Directions to Campus!

If you are coming to CCA for an Athletic event it is always best to park in the western most student lot and enter through the pedestrian gate to the fields and tennis courts. 

From the 56 Freeway:  Exit Carmel Valley Road.  Turn North onto Carmel Valley Road.  Go right on Edgewood Bend Court and enter school through the back gate.  Or proceed to Village Center Loop Road and go right.  Then turn right into the front of the school.
