Maintenance & Operations

The Maintenance and Operations Department is comprised of Maintenance, Grounds and Custodial Services. We have dedicated our department's mission statement to providing and maintaining the best facilities, services and response time possible in support of the educational process.

Additionally, this department is responsible for implementing the deferred maintenance program and managing the integrated pest management programs.

Our staff manages a district wide energy conservation program, a recycling program and the district's storm water management plan. We are proud to report that as a part of our on going efforts to protect the environment, we are adopting eco-friendly products and applications each day! The San Dieguito Union High School District hosts a 2 MW solar project. Hosting this project not only helps the San Dieguito Union High School District save money on electricity, the sale of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) generated by the system provides the district with additional revenue.
