Restorative Practices
Restorative Practices are used in our schools within our multi-tiered system of supports to create a positive and safe school climate in which every student can thrive. Utilizing restorative practices instead of traditional discipline measures, these practices are individually designed to address the underlying reasons for students’ behavior and to reinforce treating others with kindness and respect.
Restorative Practices help students gain greater awareness and understanding of how their actions impact others. They help to build the social and emotional skills of our students and build a caring school community.
