How do I get a library card?
Your current SDA student photo ID card serves as your library card. It is required to check out any library book. If you lose your student ID card, the library staff can make you a new one for $3.00.
How many books can I check out, and when are they due?
Five library books can be checked out at one time. Library books are due two weeks after the date they were checked out. You can renew a library book for another two-week period any time on or before its due date.
How
do I pay for a lost book?
Each student is responsible for all library books checked out under his/her name and are subject to fines if books are lost or damaged. You may pay with a check or cash. If the book is found, turn it in and you will be issued a refund from the district office.
Returning library books after school is out:
You will receive a letter after school is out in June if you have an overdue library book. Overdue library books may be returned to the Registrar’s office during the summer months. You are responsible for reconciling your library account before you are issued your class schedule at Taking Care of Business Days.
