Term of Office 2004-2008
 

Beth Hergesheimer is a Southern California native and has been a resident of Encinitas for ten years. She received her degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from Cal Poly, Pomona and has worked in hospital, manufacturing and engineering Human Resource settings. She is currently working toward completion of a certificate program in the California School Board Association’s Masters in Governance program.

 

Working as a community volunteer, Beth has represented local schools on Legislative Advisory Committees traveling to Sacramento to speak on behalf of public education concerns. She has also served as PTA President and School Site Liaison and as Vice President of Health and Safety for PTA, and is currently a member of the Advisory Committee of a not-for-profit preschool. She currently serves as Vice-President of the San Dieguito Union High School District Board of Trustees.

 

Beth and her husband, Peter, live in Encinitas with two of their three sons who both attend San Dieguito district schools. Their oldest son is a La Costa Canyon graduate currently studying history at UC Davis.
