Ryan Yee grew up in Orange County, but came to San Diego to attend UC San Diego. After earning a B.S. in biology, he returned to Orange County where he worked in the Huntington Beach Union High School District. However, his love of North County San Diego brought him back a short time later. Mr. Yee returned to San Diego to work at the middle school level in the San Diego Unified School District. Mr. Yee worked in the capacity of a math and science teacher for the majority of these years, but also worked as an administrator. Mr. Yee came to the San Dieguito Union High School District in 2005 as an Assistant Principal at Carmel Valley Middle School. The 2009/2010 academic year is Mr. Yee’s first year at Earl Warren Middle School. Mr. Yee
is married and has a daughter.
