Netstorage Advanced Mode

If using a public computer please go to http://netstorage.sduhsd.net and choose "Basic Mode"

Netstorage allows for easy dragging and dropping of files, straight from your windows desktop.  You can even open/save files straight from any Windows program to your folder here at San Dieguito.

To connect this way, first you must save a shortcut on your computer.

1)  Navigate to the link below, and choose "Save As"

2)  Save the "Shortcut" to your desktop

 

3)  You should see an icon on your desktop now called "San Dieguito Files"
4)  Double click that icon and you will be prompted to login.  Enter your Novell login name and password.
For staff:  Your username is your first initial plus last name.  For example John Doe would be jdoe.
For students:  Your username is last name plus first initial of your first name. For example John Doe would be doej.

NOTE: It is strongly recommended not to check the "Remember my password" box for security reasons.

Click OK

5)  After logging in, you will see your "home drive"  Double click on it and you will see the contents of it, and be able to drag and drop, or save files into it from any program.
