
Beth Hergesheimer is a Southern California native and has been a resident of Encinitas for twelve years. She received her degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from Cal Poly, Pomona and has worked in hospital, manufacturing and engineering Human Resource settings. She has completed the California School Board Association’s Masters in Governance certificate program.
Working as a community volunteer, Beth has represented local schools on Legislative Advisory Committees traveling to Sacramento to speak on behalf of public education concerns. She has also served as PTA President, School Site Liaison and Vice President of Health and Safety for PTA. She has also volunteered for 9 years as a member and chairperson for Advisory Committees of two not-for-profit preschools. Beth served as Board President of the San Dieguito Union High School District Board of Trustees from December 13, 2007 through December 11, 2008.
Beth and her husband, Peter, live in Encinitas with one of their three sons, currently attending La Costa Canyon High School. Their two older sons have graduated from district schools and are now studying at UC Davis and USC.
