Eric Dill became the Superintendent for the San Dieguito Union High School District on January 1, 2017, after serving as Interim Superintendent since July, 2016. He has been with the district since 2001 and was appointed as Associate Superintendent of Business Services in 2010, overseeing a $139 million general fund budget and $449 million school construction bond program. Eric was previously the Executive Director of Business Services and Director of Risk Management. Prior to joining the district, Eric worked in the private sector in the field of insurance and risk management for a variety of firms including Six Flags Magic Mountain and General Motors.
Eric is a Certified Chief Business Official and serves as past chair on the Legislative Committee for the California Association of School Business Officials. He completed the FCMAT & CASBO sponsored CBO Mentor Program in 2005. Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University and lives in Mission Hills.
